we walked and walked, and trammed and ringed the monuments...
i was waiting for luis to see viena more calmly. i have been there two times before, but for work matters. and frida's exhibition (really really nice). so we decided to go on a sunday - bad idea. we walked and walked, and trammed and ringed the monuments... but the museums who interested us where closed the day of free transport made us circle the city in a lazy way that we returned home quite early. delirium tremens awaited! it is just too beautiful and classy. i don't know why, maybe because it was a sunday, viena didn't tell any message to us.

finally i went to viena, that big city only one hour away from bratislava. we went to the international meeting of the "72 hours without compromise" project. in two super sunny days, we met nice people, had pic-nics in the park and i had my first flash sight of the magnificent city! of course i will come back, being so near. the difference between viena and bratislava is quite big, viena is immediately cosmopolite, with so many different people, high and rich buildings. i have to do some homework before i go back! being a 72h meeting this one couldn't escape! as for the meeting, i was very happy with it. so relaxed and without powerpoints. i tried to imagine it if it was in portugal, and i'm sure it would be in a large room with a projector and a big white wall, no one would draw on the board nor on a flip-chart. the food on the table was unthinkable and the pic nic on the park would be substitued by a fancy restaurant.
oh, i hope i learn some things from these relaxed meetings with snaks on the table and drawings on paper! |
i don't understandnerozumiem ti means "i don't understand you" in slovak. a tradition, let's say. after not understanding anything in granada, now i don't understand anything in bratislava. Archives
