The Blue Church
the blue church or church of saint elizabeth is a must see. is just bit distanced from the centre's attractions but it looks like the architect inspired himself in hansel and gretel's stories!

Cokoladovna pod Michalom
is known for having the best hot chocolate in town. it's probably right. the space is very sweet, the service fast and very nice, and you have a lot of good looking chocolate staring at you from the moment you get in!
Slovak Pub
is restaurant and pub right in obchodna street, the busy shops and eat in's street. the menu has everything you might wish for: typical food, light food, salads, gradma favourites, poor student menu, poor student after payday menu, etc, etc. all of this in a typical slovac wooden environment, with paintings and costumes and a lot of other details.
of course that if you don't want to eat you might as well just go there for a beer, or six.

čajovňa Unik TeaHouse
this hidden place is a tea house located at a student's communitary centre. right at the top of the house there's a lounge with little tables and pillows and some teas to choose from.be sure to remove your sneakers and put on some slippers! there is nothing to chew on other than chips and such, but it's worth a visit. if you're lucky you might be able to attend the weekly talks they promote with slovak personalities. the payment is voluntary.

Bratislava Castle's Garden
of course that if you're in bratislava for two days you'll want to see the castle but since i'll be here for 8 months, i'll talk about calmer routes! the castle is at a walking distance from the historical centre. it's maybe a ten minute walk from the novy most bus stop. the street is a bit steep but very pretty. you'll pass by the museum of clocks, in a very beautiful building. once you get through the castle's gates you see there are a lot of benches from where you can see the whole city, inluding the not so beautiful area of petržalka (housing a third of bratislava's population). if you really go up, you'll get an even prettier view and if we're talking about a sunny sunday, maybe you should bring a book and sit and read under a tree shade on the grass!
Koliba
Koliba is a wonderful place to spend an entire day with your family or friends, just for a walk, a barbecue, or get some sun. with a lot of shades and grass, one only need to catch trolleybus n.º 203 in hodzovo namestie and hump off at koliba. walk a bit up and be surprised!
