we took an analog camera for our holidays. it was a minox 35 ML lented by a friend of ours. fortunately, it was a bit dirty and it made this great effect on all pictures! no doubt that analog is much funnier luis for starosta the band of the bridge cutchi cutchi and these pics come from the supersampler i've had during summer and only now developped them (with 50% discount!) from the 72s competitions in the festivals from a sunny day in koliba from a serbian dinner from a trip to brno from a sightseeing day in bratislava from the blue church from a burning petrzalka

all pictures from an interesting series called "random lisa", about street art. hope to inspire some "random bratislava"! although i am late on some news, this is one is too important to respect chronological issues!
THE OTHER'SLOVAKIA IS OUT! it's a photo competition for all evs volunteers who were or who are currently in slovakia. the idea is to get a different view on the country and try to show the slovaks how their country is seen by others. finally, the photographies will be exhibited in a gallery in bratislava and the event intends to gather all the evs in the country. so, promote and participate! more information is here. after the photography seminar, we went to petrazalka to see a very nice concept of photo exhibition! i've never seen anything like this: people hung their pictures in a net, and visitors carried clothing clamps that served as votes! so, the photos with more things were the favourites! very original.
everytime i get closer to photography i start thinking "oh, i want a super camera" "i should shoot this" or "this would make a wonderful collection of photos!" so, it happened yesterday. rms organized a photo seminar to talk about basic concepts necessary for photo reports (for the purpose of registering events of the youth organizations). the practical exercise made us walk through the city, all the way up to the castle. and it continued today. and although my camera doesn't allow any manual manipulation, i still can choose what to shoot! and so today, i shot a lot. i got to the end of the seminar exhausted. it was totally in slovak and i really tried to understand as much as i could. i ended it tired and grumpy, but then the sun came.
